In my 50-year career as a graphic designer and magazine art director, I mastered composition, color harmony, typography, and compelling imagery to visually interpret the written word. Precision was everything!
With multimedia collage, I embrace intentional imperfections, serendipitous juxtapositions, and textures, in my own visual storytelling.
I work with handmade gelli prints, stained and marked papers, and any interesting paper that catches my eye. I combine my own watercolors, drawings, and photographs with found images, color enhancements, and embellishments.

Eternal Love, 10"x10", NFS. Created in memory of Steven Haber for his wife Joan. I used papers they had made in a class while in Japan, my kanji for Eternity, and other Japanese-inspired symbols, such as the crane, the egg, the chow dog, and cherry blossoms.
I'm thrilled to join the longest-established fine arts gallery in Asheville, as one of their 31 cooperative members. The Opening will showcase my work and new works from all the members. Appetizers and wine will be served.
